Plastics

DID YOU KNOW THE WORLD'S BIGGEST LANDFILL IS ACTUALLY FLOATING IN THE PACIFIC OCEAN... and over 90 percent of it is made up of plastics? It's actually over 100 million tons of garbage and is estimated to be around twice the size of the Texas. As you can imagine, the effects of this accumulation of trash are devastating to the local marine life. Bottled water alone produces up to 1.5 million tons of plastic waste per year. According to Food and Water Watch, that plastic requires up to 47 million gallons of oil per year to produce. And over 80 percent of plastic bottles are simply thrown away. Thanks to its slow decay rate, the clear majority of all plastics ever produced still exist - somewhere.

Degradable

HAVING DEGRADABLE PRODUCTS IS VERY IMPORTANT TO OUR COMPANY, and rightfully so. We have realized that it is very important to many of our customers as well. While we learned many of our customers want degradable products, we also realized that many do not know what degradable means. We would like that to change, and that is why we have dedicated an entire section to discussing degradability and our products.
